Falling in love. Again.
A quick list of the things I'm hoping to find joy in during this season of life.
If there’s an example of my favorite “just a girl” moment in pop culture history, it would be the scene where Bernadette Peters sings “Falling in Love with Love” during the 1997 TV movie version of “Cinderella.” If she’d focused less on making her stepdaughter’s life a living hell, she would’ve been perfect. (Note: As an anxious girlie, I couldn’t hide my flaws for a single 24 hours.)
Happy Valentine’s Day, friends. I have been quite pleased by the amount of Galentine’s Day events I’ve seen this month because I do believe platonic relationships are as worthy of nurturing and celebrating as romantic ones. If you haven’t told your friends you’re grateful for them today, you should do it now.
Aside from my loved ones, I’m using today as a reminder of all the things I’m hoping to fall in love with this year. Here is a quick list of some of them:
Old loves
Creative writing
Documentaries
Music discovery
Recipe exploration
Reading
Rediscovering Atlanta
New loves
Content creation
Pottery
Meditation
